Terms of Use
By using Purency you agree to these terms.
What Purency is
Purency gives information about cosmetic ingredients based on EU cosmetic regulation and public hazard data. It is not medical advice and does not replace a product's legal safety assessment. Ask a doctor or pharmacist about allergies, pregnancy, babies or skin conditions.
Scores and estimates
Scores are produced automatically and can be wrong, for example when a label is misread. When a product's ingredient list is not available, Purency shows an estimated score based on its name, brand and packaging. Estimates are marked as such and may differ from the real product: scan the label for an exact score. Formulas change, so check the label on the package you buy.
Your account
You must be at least 13. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Community rules
Do not post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit or violent, misleading health claims, spam or advertising, other people's personal data, or content you have no right to share.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report any post, comment or review and block any user from the menu next to it. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules and may suspend or delete the accounts that posted it.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post and give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and show it in Purency. Products you analyse, including their results and label photos, become part of the shared catalogue.

Liability
Purency is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of its information or for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law.
Ending and changes
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We may update these terms; we will publish changes on this page, and continuing to use Purency means you accept them.
